Training Program: Application Development

Complete Programmer Training
This program provides trainees with the conceptual knowledge (hardware, program logic, and system design) and basic skills (programming languages, design, and debugging/testing methodologies) to begin application development as part of a project team. These skills are acquired within the framework of a state-of-the-art systems environment: .NET, Java Platform, Oracle or z/OS. Individual course modules or the entire program can be presented under a variety of popular web servers, including WebSphere, IIS, BEA Weblogic, or Apache.

Customized Training Program/Courses
Our staff will incorporate your company's written standards into all aspects of the program: lecture, programming examples, student supplements, reference cards and workshop sessions. The modular format of the program provides for flexibility in terms of developing applications under different operating systems, development platforms, and programming languages. A wide range of editors, programming development aids, and utilities will also be incorporated into the program.

Coordinated Learning Experience
The rigors of the program include 5 hours of daily hands-on workshops, instructor evaluations and written examinations. An integrated case study serves to clarify the concepts presented in class lecture and reinforce the programming examples. Each student receives individual attention and class size is restricted to 12 students. After the course, students receive help telephone support free of charge. Private programs will be customized to the specific hardware requirements, software resources, and project specifications of the host organization.

Documentation
Each student receives over 1500 pages of SYS-ED student manuals, training aids, and reference manuals.
