SYS-ED offers five types of training programs.

Mainframe Entry
Level For personnel who require the skillset and experience to code, develop, test, and maintain programs with IBM mainframe systems software: Mainframe Environment, COBOL, PL/1, and CICS. No previous programming experience is required. |

System
Programming For personnel who will be called upon to perform operational tasks and manage systems software in an IBM mainframe environment. No previous programming is required. |

Legacy Programming Languages For personnel who will be required to maintain or upgrade programs whose source code was developed in 1970s and 1980s. Courses and workshops will be mixed and matched to software and project specifications. |

Application
Development For personnel who will be developing applications in either a client-server or web enabled environment: Java, ORACLE, .NET. Programs are tailored to specific operating systems and development platforms and languages. |

Courses
These intensive courses train consultants with the skill set to become experienced in specific programming languages, systems software, and networks in order to become immediately productive on a consulting assignment. |
