An overwhelming majority of Fortune 1000 and midsized companies are turning to IBM’s bellweather WebSphere MQ middleware product. It is battle tested, stable, and works well on multiple operating system environments and development platforms. Industry experts agree that it is an excellent product. And with all due respect to Sunopsis, MQSeries has a majority of the installed software base. However, when it comes to quality WebSphere MQSeries training, they turn to SYS-ED. SYS-ED has specialized WebSphere MQSeries expertise when it comes to providing predictable training outcomes: administration, design, coding, debugging, and performance tuning. Our staff of system consultant instructors have been working with MQSeries (which predated WebSphere) since its initial release in the mid 1990’s. And equally as important, have ongoing consultancy experience on the component software integral to effective utilization of IBM WebSphere MQSeries middleware: evolutionary MVS up through z/OS and non IBM operating systems, Microsoft Windows and open systems, and IBM system software - CICS, IMS, and DB2 inclusive of web enablement technologies. This know-how and hands-on experience provides us with the foundation to explain and teach WebSphere MQSeries. |

SYS-ED vs. IBM: WebSphere MQ Training
Our diagrams and teaching aids reflect information, guidelines and in many cases explanations of undocumented tips and nuances that IBM doesn’t tell you. As an independent IT training company, SYS-ED is committed to providing unbiased quality WebSphere MQSeries training, not selling software. Case in point; no one is allowed to register for a SYS-ED WebSphere MQSeries course until they have had a consultation with either our Director of Education or WebSphere MQSeries curriculum manager. If you’re working on a Microsoft Windows or UNIX based platform, we are not going to allow you to be placed in a z/OS coding course. And we appreciate and teach the differences in the release and versions of both WebSphere MQSeries and the interrelated software; and boy will that matter back on the job! Our full-time staff recognizes the difference between a skillset based WebSphere course – WebSphere MQ: Application Programming versus WebSphere MQ Clustering - Design & Architecture and WebSphere MQ Debugging Techniques on Distributed Platforms for Administrators.
So when it comes to your WebSphere MQSeries training needs, by all means contact IBM and review their course outlines and performance objectives. And then visit www.mqseriestrainingbysysed.us and review our learning paths, common questions, self assessments, and course workbooks. Or better yet e-mail or call us for a complimentary WebSphere Series consultation at dshapiro@sysed.com or 212-564-9147,48,49.

Private Courses: Client Location
SYS-ED teaches private courses in North America and Europe. With private
courses, topics can be mixed and matched from multiple course outlines and the
workshops tailored. Case in point; several of our fast-track clients have had us
conduct accelerated 5-day WebSphere MQ courses consisting of what is regularly 8 days of
subject matter. And it is standard SYS-ED policy to incorporate project
specifications into a WebSphere MQ training program: WebSphere MQ and
WebLogic, WebSphere MQ and
Oracle, WebSphere MQ and MS
.NET.
Courses can be conducted for groups as few as 3 individuals. The aggregate charges for these courses typically will be comparable or less expensive (course fee, air transportation, hotel, ground transportation, per diem allowance), then sending those employees to New York for the training. There is an online cost analysis form or contact our New York office for a personalized cost analysis.
Guaranteed Quality
SYS-ED will not accept an assignment until our systems consultant/curriculum
managers confer and review the topics, examples, and workshops. And this information will be provided in writing as
part of the training contract. We recognize and differentiate between a course –
such as
WebSphere MQ (MQSeries) System Administration and
WebSphere MQ (MQSeries):
Application Programming versus educational consulting – such as
WebSphere MQ
Clustering - Design & Architecture and
WebSphere MQ
(MQSeries) Debugging
Techniques on Distributed Platforms for Administrators.
SYS-ED WebSphere courses are offered through our New York schedule. Our comprehensive WebSphere MQ course catalog includes 22+ titles, with the tc suffix indicating a course that was developed and taught in conjunction with consulting assignments. Course titles and topics can be viewed from www.mqseriestrainingbysysed.us by typing MQSeries in the search engine field:
SYS-ED/New York Courses
SYS-ED WebSphere MQ courses are NOT open to the general public.
Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government
municipalities, healthcare providers, consulting companies, and
mid-sized businesses are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and ONLY
after a telephone consultation with our WebSphere systems
consultant/curriculum manager. This is essential for ensuring that the
individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employer’s
operational objectives, operating environment, version of WebSphere, and
development platform.
So when it comes to your WebSphere MQ training needs, by all means contact IBM and review their course outlines and performance objectives. And then visit www.mqseriestrainingbysysed.us. Or better yet e-mail us for a complimentary consultation at dshapiro@sysed.com or call 212-564-9147,48,49.
