SYS-ED and WebSphere MQ Training
Few software or consulting companies have the WebSphere MQ middleware expertise that SYS-ED does. How can we make that claim? Our system consultants, average 30 years experience in mainframe system software and have been administering WebSphere MQ and designing and coding COBOL and now Java programs since the initial roll-out of IBM's middleware. We are experts in the WebSphere family of software and have a track record of explaining, demonstrating, and teaching in interrelated information technology: UNIX-variants, Microsoft internetworking, and enterprise databases.
SYS-ED system consultants have:
|
|
Developed Java applications on a comprehensive range of web server platforms: WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle, IIS, and Apache.
|
|
Installed and configured both Microsoft and UNIX-variant internetworks: Linux, Solaris, and AIX, since the mid 1980s.
|
|
Managed and optimized IBM mainframe systems software and developed application programs on IMS, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
|
|
Designed, developed, and debugged COBOL, Assembler, PL/1, FORTRAN, REXX, and C programs.
|
|
Coded and maintained IBM mainframe system software: z/OS, z/VSE, and z/VM. |
Since 1980, SYS-ED has been providing instructor-led mainframe courses and training services for Fortune 1000 companies, government municipalities, consulting firms, and healthcare providers.
Our WebSphere MQ training services are highly respected by leaders in information technology.

SYS-ED WebSphere MQ courses are not open to the general public. Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government municipalities, healthcare providers, consulting companies, and mid-sized businesses are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and only after a telephone consultation with our Director of Education. This is essential for ensuring that the individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employer’s operating environment, version of WebSphere MQ, and development language.
Training at the Client Location or via
the Web
SYS-ED teaches private courses in North America and Europe. With private
courses, topics can be mixed and matched from multiple course outlines and the
workshops tailored. Case in point; several of our fast-track clients have had us
conduct accelerated 5-day WebSphere MQ courses consisting of what is regularly 8 days of
subject matter. And it is standard SYS-ED policy to incorporate project
specifications into a WebSphere MQ training program:
WebSphere MQ and
WebLogic,
WebSphere MQ and
Oracle,
WebSphere MQ and MS
.NET.
Warranty of Service
SYS-ED will not accept an assignment until our Director of Education reviews the topics, examples, and workshops
with the manager scheduling the training. And this information will be provided in writing as
part of the training contract. We recognize and differentiate between a course -
such as
WebSphere MQ (MQSeries) System Administration and
WebSphere MQ (MQSeries):
Application Programming versus educational consulting - such as
WebSphere MQ
Clustering - Design and Architecture and
WebSphere MQ
(MQSeries) Debugging
Techniques on Distributed Platforms for Administrators.
So when it comes to your WebSphere MQ training needs, by all means contact IBM and review their course outlines and performance objectives. And then visit www.mqseriestrainingbysysed.us. Or better yet e-mail us for a complimentary consultation at dsilverberg@sysed.com or dshapiro@sysed.com or call 212-564-9147.
