SYS-ED has extensive experience in providing tailored 5 day Java Programming courses. Instructor-led courses use industry standard textbooks and instructor guides in conjunction with its own consultancy derived courseware, sample programs, library of workshops, and tailored training aids.

SYS-ED’s core Java curriculum is based upon classic principles of knowledge transfer and proven training methodologies of Mike Murach & Associates text books. The Murach books have an international reputation for excellence and wide acceptance in trade schools, colleges, and universities. Both David Silverberg and David Shapiro have applied the theory and standards from New York State Department of Education mandated certification courses for proprietary school instructors to their adaptation and use of the Mike Murach text books.

The Murach text books, in conjunction with SYS-ED’s first generation application development experience with Java on a wide variety of web server platforms - Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle and IIS - provide a unique and effective Java training outcome. SYS-ED’s core Java courses are in the final stages of preparation for submission to the New York State Department of Education.
