Endevor SCM: Software Change Manager
CA Endevor SCM: Software Change Manager is used for defining and managing software lifecycles in mainframe environments. In
addition to standard change and release packages, emergency packages can be developed with installation specific approval requirements. When problems occur, reversion to a prior version of the program will be implemented.
Endevor controls the software management tasks associated with the mainframe development environment through its automated transformation functionality, module relationship management,
parallel development management, and release automation. It streamlines the manual steps in the software development process and promotes greater efficiency with fewer errors.
CA Endevor SCM Quick Edit is a developer workbench for coding, adding, and editing elements to an Endevor library. A programmer can manually code the element, COPY from an external data set or COPYELM
copy an existing element from within Endevor. There also is a comprehensive component display: Actions, Endevor Actions, and Package Actions.

What distinguishes the SYS-ED training service is the ability to provide integrated exercises and guidelines specific to legacy programming languages: COBOL, Assembler, PL/1, and REXX. As part of qualifying a mainframe utilities and development tools training
