An overwhelming majority of Fortune 1000 and midsized companies are turning to IBMs bellweather WebSphere MQ middleware software. It is battle tested, stable, and works well in hybrid operating system, system software, and development platform environments. Industry experts agree that it is an excellent product; WebSphere MQ dominates the installed base of software. When it comes to WebSphere MQ training, SYS-ED is a recognized leader. SYS-ED has specialized WebSphere MQ expertise when it comes to providing predictable training outcomes: administration, design, coding, debugging, and performance tuning. Our staff has been working with MQSeries (which predated WebSphere) since its initial release in the mid 1990s. Equally as important, we are experts with the interrelated system required for effective utilization of IBM WebSphere MQSeries middleware: evolutionary MVS up through z/OS and non-IBM operating systems, Microsoft Windows and UNIX- and Linux- variants, and IBM system software - CICS, IMS, and DB2. This know-how and hands-on experience provides us with a privileged foundation from which to explain and teach WebSphere MQ. |

WebSphere MQ
Courses - Demonstrated Excellence
SYS-ED teaches industry standard and consultancy derived WebSphere MQ
courses which highlight the differences in the releases and enhancements to the
middleware, system software, and programming languages. Our staff
appreciates the difference between a WebSphere MQ course -
WebSphere MQ: Application Programming and
educational consultancy,
WebSphere MQ: Clustering - Design and Architecture and
WebSphere MQ: Debugging Techniques on Distributed Platforms for
Administrators.

WebSphere MQ Training: SYS-ED versus IBM
| SYS-ED/New York Courses |
|
SYS-ED WebSphere MQ courses are not open to the general public. Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government municipalities, healthcare providers, and consulting companies are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and only after a telephone consultation with our Director of Education. This is essential for ensuring that the individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employers operating environment, version of WebSphere MQ, and programming language.
SYS-ED has been conducting courses in the public
domain since 1980; however, there have been
changes in the laws and regulations
governing computer training in the state of New York. The schedule on our
websites reflects a projected time frame for licensure with the New York State
Department of Education - Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and
submission and approval of curriculum. It will be updated quarterly.

Private Courses: Client Location Alternative web-based and e-learning training is available: self-paced, presentation through the client's authoring system, or podcast. Client organizations are presented with a palette of medium to select from in order to address selection of content, time compression, scheduling, and operational requirements. These tailored services are offered selectively. Prior to scheduling a web-based course, SYS-ED requires an examination of the prospective client's telecommunication's and software infrastructure to be utilized in the transmission of the service: bandwidth, firewall, web browser, base operating system, and system software security.
