IBM and WebSphere >> Training by SYS-ED
SYS-ED teaches you how to install, configure, administer, and tune WebSphere Application Server, develop and debug Internet applications, and integrate WebSphere MQ middleware with Java or by upgrading legacy programming languages - primarily COBOL. We earn your trust and a portion of your WebSphere training budget by demonstrating our prowess. We have developed our consultancy expertise and earned our reputation in information technology training through multiple generations of programming languages, development platforms, and system software on IBM mainframe systems and both proprietary third party software - such as Oracle and Microsoft .NET and open source operating systems and Java. Our knowledge base reflects an impartial assessment of white papers and the independent benchmarks that we apply to the WebSphere family of software and Rational Application Developer. Content from the knowledge base content is selectively added to our courseware, examples, and hands-on exercises. We get requests from IBM for our WebSphere training services; the WebSphere courseware that we utilize in our training is highly respected by leading training and consulting companies. It is our longstanding experience with IBM mainframe system software - IMS, CICS, and DB2 and interrelated information technology - which differentiates the quality of our training service. Few consulting or training companies have been providing WebSphere training longer or better than SYS-ED.
Providing effective knowledge transfer requires a unique skillset; the ability to teach. We earn our clients trust and repeat training assignments by explaining and demonstrating the nuances and how-tos which make the difference between completing a project, as opposed to producing concise well documented code, which is straightforward to maintain and extend when updates to software become available. If we dont provide a professional training service, then we dont get paid. Our teaching and support does not end at the completion of a course. Clients are welcome to stay in contact and ask the inevitable questions which come up back on the job.
Bottom line: We provide our clients with the foundation for return on investment when we teach a WebSphere course. We realize our true profit when we get called back to teach the advanced courses and the training programs for the new hires.
| SYS-ED/New York Courses |
|
SYS-ED WebSphere courses are offered through our New York schedule. Our comprehensive WebSphere curriculum includes 35+ course titles, with the TC suffix indicating a course that was developed and taught in conjunction with consulting assignments. Course titles and topics can be reviewed by invoking the button in the Search engine field.
SYS-ED WebSphere courses are not open to the general public. Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government municipalities, healthcare providers, consulting companies, and mid-sized businesses are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and only after a telephone consultation with our Director of Education. This is essential for ensuring that the individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employer's version of WebSphere, operating environment, and operational objectives.
SYS-ED has been conducting courses in the public
domain since 1980; however, there have been
changes in the laws and regulations
governing computer training in the state of New York. The schedule on our
websites reflects a projected time frame for licensure with the New York State
Department of Education - Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and
submission and approval of curriculum. It will be updated quarterly.
Private Courses: Client Location
SYS-ED teaches private courses in North America and
Europe. With private training, topics can be mixed and matched from multiple
course outlines and the workshops tailored. Case in point; several of our
clients have had us conduct accelerated 5-day courses consisting of what is
regularly 8 days of subject matter. Private training can be conducted in several formats:
classroom,
distance-learning, or
blended web-based delivery.
Warranty of Service
SYS-ED will not accept an assignment we confer
with the prospective client and
review the
subject matter, content, examples, and workshops to be covered in
the course. This information will be provided in writing to the client as part
of the training contract. Equally as important, we recognize and differentiate between an
industry standard course
such as
XML,
Java Application Development,
and
WebSphere Application Server Administration versus
WebSphere Performance Design and Tuning, and
WebSphere MQ Clustering - Design
and Architecture.
So when it comes to your WebSphere training needs, by all means contact IBM and review their course outlines, performance objectives, and courseware. Then visit WebSpheretrainingbysysed.us. Or e-mail us for a complimentary WebSphere consultation to dshapiro@sysed.com or dsilverberg@sysed.com or call 212-564-9147.
