WebLogic Server Training: The SYS-ED Advantage

No one provides world class WebLogic training like SYS-ED. Our multi-disciplinary staff of systems consultant instructors’ experience goes far beyond simply working with WebLogic since its initial release.  This collective experience includes hundreds of WebLogic configurations on different operating systems in hybrid environments.  What this means is that we can teach and explain the nuances and interpret the guidelines that BEA has published across the complete range of WebLogic configurations. And since we are an independent training company, we can provide unbiased expert information on WebLogic versus Oracle Application Server 10g, IBM WebSphere, and Apache.

SYS-ED is a recognized leader in providing WebLogic educational consultancy for Fortune 2000 companies, government municipalities, healthcare providers, and software and consulting companies. Befitting a first generation training company, which predates the onset of web servers, our consultants are experts in scalable operating systems (MS Windows, UNIX variants, and evolutionary z/OS, z/VSE, and z/VM) and legacy programming languages. It affords us with the hard-earned privilege of being able to explain the nuances and undocumented trade-offs required for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting WebLogic servers. The value added element of each SYS-ED WebLogic course for IT large shops is addressing issues associated with integrating middleware - MQSeries and systems software - DB2, CICS, and IMS with WebLogic servers. Our WebLogic courses and WebLogic training programs offer the standard core and consultation derived content. Industry leading software companies and training organizations call on SYS-ED for their challenging assignments; both for software developers and clients.

We invite existing and prospective clients to shop and compare the value of a SYS-ED course in relation to the other training alternatives.

Private Courses: Client Location
SYS-ED teaches private courses in North America and Europe. Courses can be conducted for groups as few as 3 individuals. The aggregate charges for these courses typically will be comparable or less expensive (course fee, air transportation, hotel, ground transportation, per diem allowance), then sending those employees to New York for the training. Use the online cost analysis form or contact our New York office for a personalized cost analysis. With private courses  topics can be mixed and matched from multiple course outlines and the workshops tailored. Case in point; several of our fast-track clients have had us conduct accelerated 5-day courses consisting of what is regularly 8 days of subject matter.

Guaranteed Quality
SYS-ED will not accept an assignment until our systems consultant/curriculum managers confer and review the topics, examples, and workshops with the IT managers who will be sending his/her employees for the training.  And this information will be provided in writing to the client as part of the training contract. We recognize and differentiate between a course – WebLogic Server Administration versus true educational consulting assignments – such as WebLogic Server: Performance and Tuning.  And at the client’s discretion will provide validation testing for assessing mastery of the subject matter.

SYS-ED WebLogic courses are offered through our New York schedule. Our comprehensive WebLogic curriculum courses includes 10 + titles, with the TC suffix indicating a course that was developed and taught in conjunction with consulting assignments.  Course titles and topics can be viewed by typing WebLogic in the search engine field.

SYS-ED/New York Courses
SYS-ED WebLogic courses are NOT open to the general public. Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government municipalities, healthcare providers, consulting companies, and mid-sized businesses are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and ONLY after a telephone consultation with our WebLogic Systems Consultant/Curriculum Manager. This is essential for ensuring that the individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employer's operational requirements, correct version of WebLogic, and operating environment.

So when it comes to your WebLogic training needs, by all means contact BEA and visit their website to review their course outlines and performance objectives. Or better yet e-mail us for a complimentary WebLogic consultation at dshapiro@sysed.com or call 212-564-9147.
