MS Word Training

Research Task Pane	Provides the capability for finding a word's definition, translating common words to and from a foreign language, and search references on the web without leaving the document.
Reading Layout View	Optimizes online reading of documents. It hides all toolbars except the Reading Layout and Reviewing toolbars.

MS Excel Training

Research Task Pane	Provides the capability for finding a word's definition, translating common words to and from a foreign language, and search references on the web without leaving the document.
Compare Worksheets	Provides the capability for opening two workbooks and scrolling simultaneously to compare them.

MS PowerPoint Training

Package to CD	Provides the capability for packaging a presentation to a CD.
Multiple slide Masters.	Provides the ability to create more than one slide master that can be used throughout a presentation.
Enhanced video	Provides capability for playing .avi, .mpg, and other video files full-screen from within a presentation. Video playback controls can be placed in the slide show and stream both audio and video.

MS Access Training

File Formats	MS Access 2002 in Office XP and Access 2003 are identical. Conversions will not be required.
Security	There a number of improved security features.
Error Checking	There is improved error-checking for developing databases.

MS FrontPage Training

Preview Options	Provide the capability for previewing a page with different browser settings, such as resolution.
Layers	Provide for positioning of objects on a web page with greater control.

Common Accessories

MS Picture Manager

Picture Manager is a replacement for Photo Editor from Office XP. It provides the capability for editing in the following ways:

	Brightness, contrast and color, resizing, cropping, rotating, flipping and removal of red eye.
	Once the editing is complete, the edits can be saved to the current or original file.
	It is also possible to export the changed picture to another file name or to another location.

Online Content

By default, the connection to the Online Content for Microsoft Office is turned off.

Perform the following steps in order to turn it on:

	Open a Microsoft Office application.
	Display the Task Pane.
	Choose the Help Task Pane.
	Scroll to See Also section.
	Click Online Content Settings.
	Select the desired settings.
	Close the application and re-open it for the new settings to take affect.

Removal of MS Office Shortcut Bar

With the installation of Microsoft Office 2003, the Office Shortcut Bar is removed. There is no option to restore it.

In addition to adding shortcuts to the desktop, shortcuts can be added to:

	The Quick Launch toolbar.
	The Start menu.

Another option is to create a Windows Toolbar an d add favorite shortcuts to this toolbar.
