Oracle - Database, Web Server, Forms, and Java Expertise
Oracle develops and sells the software as part of a superb integrated Oracle platform - database, web servers, and development platform.
Oracle provides the source documentation.
Oracle manages the software updates and provides consultancy services.
SYS-ED teaches you how to develop, manage, and tune your Oracle integrated software in hybrid operating proprietary and open source operating environments. We earn a portion of your IT training budget by providing results oriented training and value added service. We have built our reputation course by course over a quarter of century on multiple generations of Oracle database software and development platforms on a variety of operating environments: IBM mainframe, UNIX-variants, and MS Windows. In addition, we are also recognized experts on WebSphere MQ middleware and interrelated information technology.
Our system consultants instructors experience with Oracle includes:
Oracle Corporation has been aggressive in acquiring technologies and increasing targeted software and hardware market share. Accordingly, significant changes in the Oracle product line are in the process of being implemented. With the acquisition of BEA Systems, WLS: WebLogic Server is being rebranded as Oracle WebLogic Application Server. Oracle's stated strategy is to make WebLogic Server its preferred application server. Complementary components from Oracle Application Server along with WebLogic Operations Control from BEA and Coherence from Tangosol will be integrated into WebLogic Server. BEA products are being incrementally redesigned to integrate with Oracle Fusion Middleware. The long term plans associated with its acquisition of Sun Microsystems and plans for the software - open source Solaris, Java, and MySQL has not been publicly stated. Our courses are being updated to reflected to this emerging operational reality.
Providing effective Oracle training requires a unique aptitude and dedication. We have earned the trust of our client base by explaining and demonstrating the nuances and guidelines which make the difference between simply completing a project, as compared to producing concise documented code and a well designed optimized database. If we don’t perform this service, we don’t get paid. Our teaching and support does not end at the completion of a course. Clients are welcome to stay in contact and ask the inevitable questions which come up back on the job.
Bottom line: SYS-ED provides its clients with the foundation for return on investment. And we look forward to being called back to teach the advanced courses and the next round of training for new hires.

SYS-ED Oracle courses are not open to the general public. Only employees sponsored by Fortune 1000 corporations, government municipalities, healthcare providers, and consulting companies are allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course and ONLY after a telephone consultation with our Director of Education. This is essential for ensuring that the individual be placed in the course which corresponds to the employers operational objectives, version of Oracle, and operating environment.
Our Oracle curriculum includes 35+ course titles, with the TC suffix indicating a course that was developed and taught in conjunction with a consulting assignment. Course titles and topics can be viewed by using the Search Engine.
SYS-ED has been conducting courses in the public
domain since 1980; however, there have been
changes in the laws and regulations
governing computer training in the state of New York. The schedule on our
websites reflects a projected time frame for licensure with the New York State
Department of Education - Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and
submission and approval of curriculum. It will be updated quarterly.
