|Why SYS-ED for Programming Languages Training
SYS-ED programming language courses and training programs were developed to meet the operating objectives of Fortune 1000 companies, consulting companies, government municipalities, and healthcare providers in interrelated information technology. Our success over the past quarter century is reflected in the clients that we have provided programming language training in volume and theefficiency of our learning paths. The increasingly hybrid application development environments - open source XML and Java with commercial MS .NET, and migration of client/server development languages - Visual Basic and Visual C++ MFC, is addressed with educational consultancy: tailored industry- and client- specific examples, sample programs, and workshops.
SYS-EDís credentials in terms of consultancy experience and advanced degrees when it comes to legacy programming languages - COBOL, Assembler Language, PL/1, Fortran, REXX, C, and C++, and new technologies integrated with IBM MQ middleware and system software - CICS, IMS, and Db2, in many situations will be superior to that of the employees from the source software companies. We get requests from major software companies to provide programming language training for their clients and their staff. SYS-ED programming language courses are comparable to the training offered by the software companies with value-added service provided through our software specific websites: technology assessments, technology updates, knowledge base, and training aids.Cloud Computing
Effective usage of cloud technology involves a diversified information technology skillset for optimizing cloud deployment and operations within an organization-specific business model. Knowledge of cloud hosting, application development platforms, languages, APIs, middleware stack, collaboration tools, and web servers are all foundation requirements. SYS-ED staff and CETi technology partners are recognized experts in the commercial and open source component software under multiple platforms: IBM mainframe, UNIX and Linux-variants, and Microsoft Windows. In addition, we evaluate, test, and benchmark open source and trial software. This information is incorporated into our lesson plans and exercises for the cloud computing platforms: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and Iaas/PaaS hybrid platforms.

Knowledge Base and Submit Programming Language Questions
SYS-ED reviews information in the public domain distributed by software companies, international standards committees, and purveyors of open source software. We perform our own independent analysis and assessments of benchmarks for software updates and new products. Vendor documentation and third party content is interpreted and selectively incorporated into the courseware and training aids. SYS-ED clients are invited to ubmit programming language questions. Our system consultants and technology partners answer, explain, and where applicable reference source documentation. Questions are reviewed and answered on a first-come/first serve-basis. This service is available through categorized and programming language specific websites: COBOL, Java, .NET, REXX, and XML.
Educational Consultancy and Value Added Service
It is standard operating procedure to schedule a telephone consultation with our Director of Education or Curriculum Manager. As part of this process we will review the subject matter, sample programs, workshops, and installation standards and provide a training plan in writing. For organizations evaluating whether to send an employee to a SYS-ED course, we will require that a profile form be completed and submitted both by the manager and the employee who will be trained. It is our prerogative to ensure that the employee has the prerequisite background for the training. Not everyone is allowed to enroll in a SYS-ED course.
