IMS Technology Update

IMS 10 enhancements have been designed to provide Information On Demand business enablement, growth, availability, and systems management. IMS Transaction Management system provides the capability to communicate with the network; manages input/output processing and security.

There is an expanded featureset including message queuing, formatting, logging and recovery; for scheduling, execution, and checkpoint/restart of online and batch message and data processing programs.
