Walking Guidelines
It is approximately 20 short blocks to a mile. Manhattan from above
Houston Street is based upon a regular grid pattern.
Getting Around New York City and the New
York Metropolitan Area
Staff at SYS-ED can provide literature and assistance with subway
lines, bus routes, and travel to/from the New York city area.
There also are buses and limousine services
to each of the airports.

Street Irish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc. The food is good, but since
this part of midtown is non residential, it may be outside of a per
diem budget. Our advice is to review the menu on the window of
the restaurant before making your decision. Don’t be self
conscious about doing this, it is an accepted practice in
New York city. |
