| COBOL Courseware for Teaching |

Good morning: I recently noticed some COBOL courses on your website and wanted to inquire about pricing for your courseware manuals. I have a small opportunity near the Philadelphia area and hope to hear from you soon. Best regards, Signature on file. |
Courseware as Learning Center |
| Dear Sir: An attachment has been enclosed with our COBOL course outlines, the components of our integrated COBOL training program, and COBOL courseware. Our recommendation would be to have your system consultant instructor review the component courses which are required to deliver the COBOL training program, to your client inclusive of the projected duration. The COBOL courseware was developed for utilization in a traditional classroom; it can be extended and modified for utilization in a web-based distance-learning medium. We also need to know whether validation assessment is required as part of the training? We would then provide you with a bottom line fee. We have a dual rate structure for our courseware; one which is a daily rate and the other is an all inclusive fee for an integrated training program. Our objective is to make the rate as competitive as possible. With both rate schedules, your organization would be provided with a PDF copy of the student hand-outs and could "brand" the materials with the company logo and website. As part of the courseware licensing, we will provide validation assessment questions (up to 50 questions per course module) and COBOL and software specific training aids. COBOL questions can be submitted by your instructor during the program and the students when the program is complete. Typically, our courseware is tailored and licensed to companies as part of train-the-trainer programs. We will selectively license courseware for utilization as part of subcontracting assignments. Although it not a not requirement, we would recommend a telephone consultation with the instructor prior to your licensing the courseware. Courseware is important, but the instructor still will be the key component to the successful delivery of the training! It is standard policy for Computer Education Techniques to execute non-compete and non disclosure agreements. Thank you for evaluating CETi COBOL courseware. David Shapiro |
