Status

SYS-ED has been conducting courses in the public domain since 1980; however, there have been changes in the laws and regulations governing computer training in the state of New York. The schedule on our websites reflects a projected time frame for licensure with the New York State Department of Education - Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and submission and approval of curriculum. It will be updated every quarter.

In the interim, we will continue to provide training at the client location for small groups and upon request one-on-one training at the client location.

Prior to enrollment in a SYS-ED course, it is a requirement that the organization sponsoring the employee for training receive a catalog.

Courses are held in Manhattan.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and full refunds are allowed if written cancellation is received 10 business days prior to the course start date.
Registrants who do not attend the course or do not cancel 10 or more business days in advance are responsible for the full registration fee. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of the course.
In the event that a course is cancelled by SYS-ED, liability is limited to the registration fee only.

Special Terms

For 1-, 2-, and 3- day computer application courses, enrollment must be accompanied by payment in full prior to the course by check, purchase order, credit card, or authorized government voucher.
Payment, approved purchase order, or prepaid government voucher will be required prior to the start of the course.

Course Location

SYS-ED courses are not intended for or available to the general public.
Organizations who will be sending their employees to SYS-ED courses will be required to sign an acknowledgement stating that they have a licensed version of the software being trained on at his/her place of employment.

I have read the entire agreement, accept a copy, and certify that there have been no verbal promises or commitments other than those appearing hereon. This agreement is not effective until it has been accepted by an authorized representative of the school. I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the disclosure material and school catalog containing the rules and regulations of the school. The student has been presented with the competency assessment specific to the curriculum that they are requesting to enroll in. SYS-ED provides no representations whatsoever regarding employment, and in fact, its stated policy is not to provide assistance in procuring employment for its students.

SYS-ED reserves the right to deny enrollment in its courses. Competency assessment questions, employer verification of the experience, and a interview by a SYS-ED Director are the criteria for precluding enrollment.
