1975-79:
David Silverberg served as a programmer with Union Carbide Corporation. He has a BS and MS in computer science and MS in management.
Verhoef Information Packages, involved in the start-up and was a curriculum developer and lead instructor. David Shapiro started doing marketing research for Robert Blumfeld while at Union College - BA and Cornell University - MBA. 1980-84:

In 1980, SYS-ED was started as the division of Integrated Computer Software, located at One Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016. Blumfeld was the only employee and he developed the original CICS and VSAM curriculum. SYS-ED offered private, public courses, and consortium courses. In 1981, Shapiro was hired as a salesman by Integrated Computer Software for its SYS-ED division. 1985-1988:

1982 - Computer Education Techniques, Inc. formed and purchased
the SYS-ED division from Integrated Computer Software.

During his 29 years with SYS-ED and Computer Education Techniques, Inc. David Shapiro has worked in all functional areas of the business: marketing, finance, computer operations, administration, courseware development, web development, teaching, and instructor training.
