.NET Framework Class Library
Organize, sort, and extract data from the System.Collections ArrayList and compare it to the Hashtable class.
File Input/output and Directories
Read and write a binary file with the FileStream Object.
Retrieve data from random access I/O.
Write events to the Windows Event Log using System.Diagnostics.
Display information from Active Directory services.
Pass data between the messages in the two processes.
Manipulating XML Data
Read and parse an XML file.
Code a routine which writes the XML data to a text file.
COM+ Component Services
Code an application which will support legacy COM transactions.
Building Web Services
Code and test a consumer web service.
Web Service Description Language
Create and extend the web service from the pervious exercise with additional methods.
Creating a Simple Web Service
Generate a skeleton web service and modify the code for consistency with the exercise specifications.
Accessing Data with ADO.NET
Access a legacy database using a multi-tier application and ADO.NET.
Displaying Database Data
Display database metadata by retrieving information from the catalog.
