VSAM File Access
Load data into a KSDS from a sequential file.
Access a record based on its primary key.
Review the statistics of a VSAM cluster.
Sort a file into a temporary dataset based on multiple keys.
Sort only selected records of a dataset.
Create a summary file of input data with control breaks.
Advanced Table Processing
Use looping to control the printing of a histogram with an x and y axis.
Create a two-dimensional table and access the data in row/column order and column/row order.
Code a specialized search of a multidimensional table using the index technique.
Dynamically load a table from a dataset; ensure that table overflow does not occur.
Code a sequential search without the SEARCH command.
Code a sequential search without and with the SEARCH command.
Sort data and dynamically load it into a table.
Use the SEARCH ALL command to search the data for a value.
Terminate a program with a dump.
Code a multi module application passing and getting data from the subprograms.
Share files logic with a common I/O routine.
Parse XML into a VSAM record.
Generate XML from a COBOL structure.
Concatenate and parse strings based on position and delimiters.
Initialize a table by redefining values over the table.
Use DISPLAY statements to debug a program.
