SYS-ED’s UNIX courses use industry standard textbooks in conjunction with our own consultancy derived courseware, sample programs, library of workshops, and tailored training aids. These courses are in the process of being prepared for utilization in an e- and distance-learning medium to the New York State Department of Education – Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision.

We have applied the theory and standards from New York State Department of Education mandated instructor training courses for proprietary school instructors to our adaptation and utilization of the textbooks. SYS-ED applies a multidisciplinary skillset to our presentation of subject matter and performance guidelines. SYS-ED courses are comparable to the courses offered by the proprietary UNIX software companies, with the value added standards mandated by the New York State Department of Education.

The UNIX course offerings included in our catalog have been reviewed and approved by the New York State Department of Education. The course titles and topics are also in the SYS-ED search engine. These curriculums are augmented by our consultancy derived content. Course outlines are only available via e-mail.
