SYS-ED offers the following training programs1 :

Office Suite Business Software

For personnel that require a systematic approach for evaluating and learning new versions and hybrid combinations of commercial and open source office suite software: Microsoft, integration of networking and search with software-as-a-service, and as a front end to Cloud Computing.

UNIX and Linux Operating System

For personnel that will be called upon to utilize and manage UNIX- and Linux- variants as a base operating system for web servers, scalable databases, Internet programming, and WebSphere MQ middleware,

Microsoft Operating System and Internetworking

For personnel that will be called upon to install and administer MS Server networks and SharePoint server farms and develop scripts using Microsoft development languages.

Webmaster Programs

For personnel that will be called upon to design, plan, implement, and administer a foundation for web-based content, web servers, e-commerce infrastructure, and application development.

Web Development and Internet Programming

For personnel that will be called upon to maintain and transition cross platform client-server applications - Visual Basic and C++ and code Internet applications: Java, .NET - VB.NET or C#, and Oracle Roadmap on web server platforms or CICS Transaction Server. Additional commercial, open source and hybrid fast-track scripting and programming language training programs are available.

Legacy Programming Languages, SOA: Service Oriented Architecture, and Web Services

For personnel that will be called upon to maintain and repurpose programs coded in the 1970s and 1980s: COBOL, Assembler Language, and PL/1 and which will require tailored fast-track derivative IBM SAA and 4th generation languages courses and training programs.

Mainframe Entry Level

For personnel that require the foundation skillset to code, develop, test, and maintain programs with IBM mainframe systems software: Mainframe EnvironmentCICS Transaction Server, and WebSphere MQ.

Mainframe System Programming

For personnel that will be called upon to manage operations and systems software in an IBM mainframe environment.

Weekend and Evening Courses

These fast-track courses are for organizations' that do not have the resources and flexibility to send their personnel for training during standard working hours.
