Educational Consultancy - Oracle Software and WebLogic Server |

| Oracle Corporation has been aggressive in
acquiring technologies and increasing targeted software and hardware market
share. Accordingly,
significant changes in the Oracle product line are in the process of being
implemented. With the acquisition of BEA Systems, WLS: WebLogic Server is
being rebranded as Oracle WebLogic Application Server. Oracle's stated strategy is to make WebLogic Server its preferred application
server. Complementary components from Oracle Application Server along with WebLogic Operations Control from BEA and Coherence from Tangosol also
will be
integrated into WebLogic Server. In 2009, Oracle Corporation acquired Sun Microsystems hardware and open source software: Solaris operating system, Java programming language, and MySQL database. European regulators had expressed concern that Oracle would stop supporting the open source software in favor of protecting its core traditional products, and customers will lose an important option in the database market. As a condition for approval Oracle Corporation made significant commitments to support open source software. The challenge for Oracle’s customers will be managing differing application server environments until the roadmap becomes a reality and then migrating to their own standardized platform. SYS-ED's staff of system consultants have been monitoring the technical issues which have been arising for customers of both platforms as Oracle undertakes the product changes and commences the migration for its installed base of clients. Oracle Corporation will be providing maintenance for current Oracle Application Server 10g customers during the convergence of functionality with the WebLogic Server. Tailored Client-specific Oracle Training SYS-ED's Oracle training programs and fast-track courses provide a framework for:
Befitting our first generation and longstanding consultancy experience provides us with the privileged perspective from which to recognize and differentiate between industry standard content and educational consulting. We review coding standards and then have the client select the examples and sample programs for the hands-on exercises. It is our standard policy to examine client documentation and, if warranted, develop tailored skeleton programs. At the client discretion, assessment validation can be provided: Oracle, WebLogic, Java, and UNIX- and Linux- variants. Equally as important, SYS-ED is independent from the software companies. We analyze benchmarks for software updates and new products. Vendor documentation and third party content is interpreted and selectively incorporated into our courseware and training aids.
