Content Tailoring and Assessment

This assessment system has been designed to provide IT managers with the means for evaluating whether a SYS-ED instructor-led course is appropriate for their personnel.

The questions reflect the performance objectives and core content as specified and selected by the client organization. The assessment questions are utilized to identify the degree of resident knowledge that the prospective attendee possesses prior to attending a course and measure the knowledge and specific skillsets upon completion of a course or training program. At the client's discretion a checklist of completed workshops can be kept.

For private client-site courses, the pre-course assessment can be tailored in two ways:

1. To include subject matter specific to the client environment: programming standards, examples, skeleton programs, and workshops.
    
2. Selectively incorporate the source software certification standards.
