SYS-ED’s mainframe legacy courses use industry standard textbooks and instructor guides in conjunction with its own consultancy derived courseware, sample programs, library of workshops, and tailored training aids.

SYS-ED’s curriculum is based upon classic principles of knowledge transfer and the training methodologies of Mike Murach & Associates text books. The Murach books have an international reputation for excellence and wide acceptance in trade schools, colleges, and universities. We have applied the standards and theory from New York State Department of Education Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision mandated courses to our presentation of subject matter and troubleshooting guidelines.

The mainframe course offerings included in our catalog have been reviewed and approved by the New York State Department of Education. The course titles and topics are also in the SYS-ED search engine. These curriculums are augmented by our consultancy derived content. Course outlines are only available via e-mail.

SYS-ED’s commitment to excellence and roll-up-your sleeves work ethic has kept us on the leading edge of computer technology. Our independence from the software companies and 25+ years of been there done that consultancy expertise provides a unique perspective to unbiased personalized training and ongoing support. Our mainframe legacy courses are comparable to the courses offered by IBM, with the value added standards mandated by the New York State Department of Education.

SYS-ED’s consultancy derived courseware and training aids - course workbooks, workshops, common questions, self assessment questions, training aids, etc. can be reviewed from the following urls:
